So, I have this thing for vintage kitchenalia. I don’t think my obsession with vintage Pyrex is a problem, but The Hawaiian probably wouldn’t agree. I have a retro kitchen, I love vintage color palettes… it’s just my thing. So the Cup of Thanks stamp set from Brutus Monroe totally called my name. It’s all this bold graphic retro awesomeness in a small but mighty stamp set.
I took most of the images and heat embossed them onto Kraft cardstock in white, creating my own design paper. I then took some PrismaColor pencils and colored them in- no shading, just single color coloring. I used my vintage Pyrex for color inspiration.
The travel mug with the sentiment is actually from another Brutus Monroe set called Got Pumpkin. I thought it worked well. I stamped the sentiment from Cup of Thanks onto the coffee sleeve, did some fussy cutting, and then adhered that to a strip of vellum I wrapped around the card panel.
I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out, and I just LOVE the bold retro colors and pattern.
Hope you’re having a lovely day!
