I love math. Math is just awesome and fun. Hilariously, I’m terrible at basic math- adding figures and such. Where I excel is crazy complicated math- calculus anyone? Yeah. I know. Whatever. I’m special. Given the number of math tattoos I sport, is it any wonder I’m a Pi Day enthusiast?
I’m not sure if you noticed, but I made sure Einstein’s equation is a bit of a focal point, because Pi Day is Einstein’s birthday.
The pie is from an older lawnfawn set, “you are one awesome” is from a Gerda Steiner Designs sentiment that I selectively stamped, and I used an alphabet set for the rest of my sentiment. For the inside of my card I stamped “happy pi day!”
I really like how it all came together, and know the recipient will get a kick out of it- and that’s what matters!
Hope you have a lovely day, and thanks for stopping by!
Wanted to wish you all a Happy Purim!
It’s possible that Purim is my favorite celebration. Delicious cookies? Check. Costumes? Check. Being loud and silly? Check, check. A completely kickass Queen Esther who rocks hard and saves the day? Check. I mean, it really doesn’t get any better. Esther is my kind of queen. Also- the story has it that she ate beans in order to keep kosher. I love beans. I eat them every day.
In case you can’t tell, my watercolor hamantaschen are prune. Or maybe poppyseed. I love both, and plan to consume an unhealthy quantity of both over the next few days. Yay for vegan hamantaschen! All the cookies are mine! Uh. No. I’ll share. Honest.
Shabbat Shalom, and Happy Purim!
